Buddhist Monk Large – Mini doll

Tashi, the Tibetan Buddhist monk, is a doll-ightfully zen doll with magnetic hands, chanting prayers and meditating. The doll is handcrafted, embroidered, and filled with material cut-offs and pure Himalayan sheep wool.

The dolls are exceptionally well-made by a fair-trade enterprise based in the valley of Dharamshala, in the Northern Indian Himalayas that employs women from the local Tibetan and Indian community. Their aim is to empower the artisans by training them in new skills and creating meaningful, income-generating, and enjoyable work opportunities within a homely and supportive environment. Additionally, they focus on creating a series of high-quality dolls inspired by Tibet’s unique culture.
