Na-gyen Maey are inspired by the blazing mass of wisdom-fire that is found on traditional thangka paintings and murals. A bunch or circles of thick, stylised wavy and curved patterns in blazing reds and oranges – a unique way of representing fire (maey) in art.
Symbolism : Fire, a pure element that symbolises all that is sacred, also symbolises the destruction of the five negative energies and obscuring emotions of ignorance, desire, aversion, pride and jealousy in Buddhism. Fire is also identified with bodhicitta, the luminous consciousness of the Buddhist practitioner.

Our handcrafted pieces are 18k gold plated over brass and gold jewellery tends to lose a bit of colour over time and might tarnish when not taken care of. An extra layer of coating protects them from the same but special care is required for your delicate pieces to keep them beautiful for years to come. To preserve the radiance of your jewellery –

– Between wearings, store in a pouch or in the box provided separate from other jewellery
– Be gentle if cleaning is required. Do not rub.
