The Himalayas are not only known for their mountain peaks, but also for the majestic yaks! Our small Yak Doll is made in 100% wool and felt, and has a fluffy body. The doll doubles as a lovely gift for children, and as a souvenir for your home from the mountains.

The dolls are exceptionally well-made by a fair-trade enterprise based in the valley of Dharamshala, in the Northern Indian Himalayas that employs women from the local Tibetan and Indian community. Their aim is to empower the artisans by training them in new skills and creating meaningful, income-generating, and enjoyable work opportunities within a homely and supportive environment. Additionally, they focus on creating a series of high-quality, child-friendly dolls inspired by Tibet’s unique culture.
