Introducing the Blue Flower & Moon Mug, our first mug in stoneware inspired by the ‘beauty lies in the details’ of thangka art. The beauty of traditional Tibetan Buddhist paintings never ceases to amaze – the meticulousness and discipline required by the artist to make the design, and the vividness of its details always leaves us in awe. For this mug, we commissioned a local thangka artist and worked closely with him to create this design focusing on the blue flowers, moon and cloud designs in hues of blue with a glimmering 24k outline in real gold – elements one would almost always find in the paintings. The mug comes with a lid and and a solid brass strainer making it a perfect addition to your everyday morning and evening tea-time rituals. A perfect gift for the season!

– The mugs are made in high quality stoneware which is more resistant to chipping and cracking than ceramics. The mugs are made with non-porous ceramic clay and fired at a temperature greater than 2150°F
– Removable strainer
– Weight with strainer : 575 gm
– Height with lid : 10.5 cm
– Diameter : 8.5 cm

– High quality durable stoneware
– Wash with a soft sponge and a mild dishwasher
– The outline is 24k gold, it is not microwave safe
