Na-gyen Maey are inspired by the blazing mass of wisdom-fire that is found on traditional thangka paintings and murals. A bunch or circles of thick, stylised wavy and curved patterns in blazing reds and oranges – a unique way of representing fire (maey) in art.
Symbolism : Fire, a pure element that symbolises all that is sacred, also symbolises the destruction of the five negative energies and obscuring emotions of ignorance, desire, aversion, pride and jealousy in Buddhism. Fire is also identified with bodhicitta, the luminous consciousness of the Buddhist practitioner.
Our Maey statement earrings are made in pure silver and handcrafted by exceptional artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Composition & Care
Our silver jewellery pieces have been handcrafted in fine silver by Nepali artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal. Natural oxidation causes silver jewellery to tarnish. To take care and maintain your jewellery –
– Polish it frequently with a soft dry cloth to avoid tarnish
– Store it in a cool, moisture free, air-tight box or ziplock bags, and always keep individual pieces separate to avoid scratching
– Remove when showering, swimming and during manual work
– Silver when used regularly typically needs less care – a great reason to wear your beautiful pieces everyday
Delivery, exchanges and returns
– Free shipping on all prepaid domestic orders above Rs.2000.
– Shipping charge of Rs.150 on all COD domestic orders.
– Free International shipping on all orders over $200 (excluding silver items). For orders below $200, a standard shipping fee of $20 applies. Orders containing silver items will incur an additional shipping fee of $20.
– Estimated delivery time is between 1-8 working days, depending on the delivery address.
